content warnings. the usual asoiaf blanket warning for violence, incest, abuse, trauma, as well as child marriage, rape (marital rape specifically—something she and her mother both experience), and child murder/death in helaena’s case. BIG emphasis on incest with helaena; her great-grandparents were siblings and she herself is married to her brother + her children are a product of incest, as is the case for most of the targaryens. let me know if you want to avoid certain topics or helaena altogether.

canon compliance. current with the show; reading fire & blood, but i've been saturated with spoilers so i know what happens.

physical contact. you can try, but helaena is touch-averse (autistic is my reading) and flinches away from most physical contact, even with her loved ones and especially when she's upset.

first impression. strange, quiet, unnerving or dreamy to the point of distraction, with big lilac eyes that alternate between unclear and then too sharp. she has the typical pale complexion and silver-blonde hair of the targaryens, her figure tall and soft due to carrying twins. she favors fabrics of green or blue.

abilities. dragon riding (bonded to dreamfyre), greater heat resistance, and precognition.

helaena is a dragon dreamer, meaning she has visions of the future to come, though nobody around her seems aware that she's a prophet. consequently, she frequently seems like she's not fully attached to reality, split between present and future. she cannot always interpret her own premonitions for what they mean and has trouble articulating them or getting people to understand what she's foreshadowing. (i will ask before i have her refer to your character's future, but pls let me know if there's anything juicy you wish her to cryptically allude to.) she's also a great embroiderer, bug collector, and artist. canonically she draws her prophecies all over the walls of the queen's chamber. my head canon is the credits are her embroidery work.

misc. always down to play with the "aemond is the father of at least one or all of helaena's kids" theory. i love mess.
